Once upon a time, it was considered the norm to get married and have children. Today we see that many people do not get married and have children. We also see a rise in the number of people who are choosing not to have children. For this exercise, I would like for you to do the following: Explain the difference between childless and childfree. This clip from Independent Lens focuses on a conversation between a child-free man and a childless woman. Why do we see that millenials are having fewer (or no) children? What are some of the reasons a person may be childless or childfree? (The film has good examples) This assignment should be about two pages in length. (NOTE: I will not tolerate or accept judgmental statements about the choices that these individuals made).
