patient details; this patient is 25 years old female, lives in Kellyville. she was diagnosed as hypothyroid in age of 17. She is now studying medical science. Since this is an autoimmune hashimotos she cannot do anything about it. she needs to take 100 micrograms of levothyroxine everyday. she hair is thinning, skin dries, in summer she doesn’t like to wear shorts as her skin is really dry.feel lethargy and sleepy, have mood swings, weight gained. everyone mocking her about that.she cannot eat or wear nice clothes. everyone make comments about her. she is now obese and has a huge tummy because of the fat. she is an international student. Which make things hard. her medications and test does not get covererd as she does not have medicare. her health insurance does not cover the specials charges which is 150$ per appointment. she needs to monitor her condition doing blood tests (TSH , FE) she is expecting to getting married soon and have a child. but this because of this condition it is as risk as she may give birth to an underdeveloped baby or still birth.
