Labor Relations Final Paper

Scenario: You have recently been appointed Chief of a municipal police or fire department. One of the reasons you were hired from outside the organization was because of a prolonged breakdown in the relationship between management and employees, and you have been tasked to improve this situation. Recently, the employees voted to establish a labor union representing all non-supervisory sworn employees. Shortly after beginning your position, management and the union will begin negotiating its first collective bargaining agreement.
Prepare a 4-5 page paper describing your leadership strategy to develop positive labor relations in your public safety organization. The following guidelines must be adhered to:
