32-year-old patient accompanied by mother. He reports fatigue, feeling tired, being fidgety, he is shaking his legs constantly during the interview. Pt. reports he falls asleep but can not stay asleep and sleeps for 2 hours/time. He denies headaches, or dizziness. Reports that he feels irritated and angry at times. He had thought about hurting himself many times however would not tell if he had a plan. Has had several jobs but gets bored easily. Has had a few long-term relationships but would not give details. he mentioned he likes it quiet, hates the sound of barking dogs or when hos phone beeps.
I am providing the 3 differential diagnosis below.
Differential Diagnosis #1: Chronic depression* will be final diagnosis
