Overview
In the church, discipleship development is leadership development. If we disconnect discipleship from leadership development, we will end up with a worldly top down autocratic view of leadership. Christian leadership is all about Christian discipleship. We serve people by helping them know Christ, grow in Christ and go for Christ.

Items to include are outlined as follows:
- At least 5 pages, not including the cover page and table of contents, and must be in current Turabian format.
- Must include a bibliography with a minimum of 5 scholarly sources, which can include the course textbooks.
- Format of assignment is current Turabian.
- Specific Prompts:
- For this assignment, you will analyze Great Commission leadership and note the similarities between developing disciples and developing leaders in your church/ ministry.
- You will compare and contrast the leadership chapters in Earley/Dempsey with Putman in your reading for this week.
- Also explain how a healthy church is the goal for discipleship.
- Finally, from the 10 Kingdom Leadership Principles in the lecture notes of Module 6: Week 6, discuss some principles that need more attention in your context.
