As I said before, there is no absolute minimum or maximum length for the essay. However, for students in ESLL 026, a minimum of 300 words is recommended.

You are able to use the articles you are analyzing during the test, as well as any annotations that you made on the articles.

Although you do not have to use strict MLA format, you should be able to properly use in-text citations in your paper, such as including the author and title of the article you are citing.

You do not need a Works Cited page or a title on the first page.

The essay is due at the end of the class, which will give you 110 minutes to write.
