Identifying a Target Group/Unit of Instruction
In a two to three page paper (not including the title and reference pages), describe the target group for whom you will ultimately design a unit of instruction at the end of the course. The learning group may be either academic or professional, but your description should be as thorough and detailed as possible. Discuss the specific needs (or projected needs) of your learning group and how these needs will impact your curriculum design. You must format your paper according to APA style guidelines as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center and support your writing with evidence from the text and at least one additional scholarly source. You should also designate a preliminary subject/topic you’d like to develop into a lesson. Be sure this is the age/grade level/etc. you wish to commit to, because subsequent weekly written assignments will build upon what you are crafting this week
