policy briefing for a state senator or county commissioner . The policy assignment should focus on your
selected topic of risk factor or health issue you identified at the beginning
of the course. The culminating
assignment will be submitted/completed during Week 7 of the course.-
Policy
Brief – The policy brief should be nine (9) to 10 pages (not counting the
title and reference pages) recommending and making the case for a specific
intervention or action to address the health behavior or health issue. Include the economic, political and social
aspects of your topic. Give
consideration to necessary partnerships and appropriate evaluation
methods. The sections of the policy
