For this essay you will be creating an argumentof definition. Remember, for an argument of definition, you must have a thesis that explains how one idea is or is not another idea. As always, pay attention to the way that you craft your argument. Your ultimate goal is to convince the reader to believe your truth. As such, pay attention to your use of rhetorical devices and fallacies.

Topic:
You must create your own thesis that has to do with either success, murder, or ethics. This must be a thesis that drives an argument of definition.
- If you are choosing ethics, you may choose any of the ethical dilemmas we discussed in class or any ethical dilemma at all. Basically, you would be creating a definition of ethical, then arguing whether or not the topic you picked is ethical based on that definition.
- If you are choosing murder you would create a definition of murder and then argue whether or not something is murder based on that definition.
- If you are choosing success, you would be creating a definition of success, and then argue whether or not something (or multiple things) are successful based on that definition.
