The first step in creating a quality Portfolio is the development of your educational goals. In this unit, you will write your Goal Statement where you will list your short- and long-term goals. Your Goal Statement will help you clarify your vision and help the Portfolio evaluators better understand you and what you plan to do with your Portfolio credit and your Kaplan Degree!
As you participate in this Discussion, you may find other students whose goals strike a chord with you. Perhaps you could offer advice from your own experiences that would provide encouragement to another student who is striving for a goal you know a little something about! Share ideas that others can embrace (such as associations they could join or skills that would be helpful to brush up on) that could lead to attainment of their goal. Any helpful information or resources that you can offer from your own experiences to support a fellow student and help him or her to advance toward their goal is valued.
