Whistlers Nocturne Embodies Impressionism Question

Writing Assignment #2 is a 3-5 page, double-spaced, research paper about an artwork that embodies one of the movements we have covered in the second half of this class (after Exam #1). Possible examples include: Dada, Impressionism, Realism, Constructivism, Futurism, Regionalism, Surrealism, Pop, Abstract-Expressionism, etc. Your final paper must:

1. Have a clear and cogent thesis that relates the artwork back to the movement it is from – how does your chosen artwork exemplify the movement it is from.
2. Have three paragraphs that support your thesis using visual or textual support. Instances of textual support must be reflected in your works cited/bibliography/reference section
3. Proofread paper with full sentences that reflect developed thoughtful ideas.
4. A correctly formatted reference section/bibliography/intext citations with a MINIMUM OF 2 ACADEMIC SOURCES.
5. Each paragraph has three elements of support – textual/visual evidence.
6. Meets the MINIMUM 3 PAGE DOUBLE-SPACED requirement.
