Please answer the following and show your work, thank you!
When you shine a beam of light on a lake at a horizontal distance of 3.25 m from the shore you see a fish on the bottom of the pond. You also know that a recent oil spill (noil=1.52) causes a 28 mm deep transparent layer of oil on the lake of water (nwater=1.33)
A- what is the angle of incidence θ1 the beam of light hits the surface of the lake?
B- how far away from the shore is the fish actually?
C- how would the distance of the fish from the shore change if there would be no oil spill and the hand holding the flash light was only 82 cm above the surface of the water?
D- if you finally want to catch the fish with a spear under the conditions from part B what would be the angle you throw the spear into the water?
