The first website provides the necessary steps to register as a sex offender in the City of Santa Ana, California. The second is the State of California, Office of the Attorney General’s report to the legislature (2006 & 2007). Your assignment is to analysis the effectiveness of the California Sex Offender or Megan’s Law. In your analysis you may want to consider public perceptions of the law and the types of offenders (do most people know the classifications?). What about the NIBY effect and impacts? And finally research your city or zip code and include the results with your analysis.
