week 4 meet session

This LIVE video Meet session covers various topics from the reading chapter assigned this week. It will be conducted using the Meet collaboration tool, available from the toolbox above or from the APPS menu at the main course web page. Your professor will let you know (see post under discuss area below) what time your weekly session will occur. All LIVE Meet sessions will be recorded so if you need to miss one, you can listen to it at a later time. Your professor will review the homework assignments for the week and will present specific topics from the weekly readings via demonstrstions of the software. Be prepared to ask questions or participate in discussions on the readings, homework, or other issues related to the topics for this week. Due to time constraints, your professor will not go over previous homework assignments during this session. If you have questions about past assignments, please contact your instructor to arrange another time to discuss. All students (whether attending LIVE or not) will be required to turn in an assignment file after attending or listening to the session in order to receive credit for this assignment (see below for specific assignment to complete). Simply attending will not result in any points for this assignment.

Action Items

1. Attend the LIVE Meet session set up by your professor (see discuss area below for specific time). If you cannot attend the session LIVE, click on the Meet tool in the APPS menu in the upper right portion of the main course web page to access and watch this week’s recorded Meet session (available within 1 hour after it transpires) and then complete item #2 below. All students (whether attending the LIVE session or not) are required to complete item #2 below.
2. In order to demonstrate your understanding of the chapter concepts, complete the GO! Think Project 4L Streets Department assignment in your textbook (at the end of Chapter 4) and submit the database file to the drop box using the Submit button in the toolbar above by the stated due date. Any required start files are attached below (two start files are required for this assignment: a04L_Streets_Department.accdb and a04L_Word_Order.docx). NOTE: This assignment MUST be submitted by 11:59 PM EST on Sunday of the week of the Meet session. It will NOT be accepted past this date. If the Meet session is cancelled or an alternative session is provided via a pre-recording, you are still required to complete this portion of the assignment for any credit on it.

IMPORTANT! Your submission to item #2 above must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST on Sunday of this week in order to receive any credit for the session. It cannot be turned in late past this date. This is required whether you attend the LIVE session or not.
