This assignment is divided into two parts:
- Part 1 is the development of the strategic outline.
- Part 2 is the development of a Visitor Journey, Information Architecture and Wireframe. Part 2 will be added on October 2.
Overview
Dimpflmeier is a well-known bakery with products sold in many grocery stores in Ontario. Their website can be found at https://www.dimpflmeierbakery.com/
The website was built several years ago and now seems disorganized and lacks a purpose. COVID-19 has had an impact on the way that consumers think and how they shop for food and Dimpflmeier wants to refresh the website to better reflect this reality.
PART 1: Strategic outline
Develop a one- to two-page strategic outline that provides:
- A summary of the problem and your thoughts on what Dimpflmeier needs to do to with their website to solve the problem outlined above. Make sure that you can rationalize your ideas. Remember to ask yourself important questions to support your research, but use facts and data to provide recommendations.
- A succinct outline of the audiences served by the website backed up with evidence. Think about where you are going to go to learn more about who is being served by Dimpflmeier.
- Based on your strategic approach, identify one main objective for the website and two secondary objectives. What is the primary call to action?
PART 2: Visitor Journey, Information Architecture, Wireframe
Using your website outline as a reference, develop a visitor journey map, an information architecture and wireframes for the Dimpflmeier Bakery website.
Think about your audiences and the primary objective for the website.

- Show entry point(s) into the website
- SUCCINCTLY explain how you will guide the user to complete the main CTA of the website
- SUCCINCTLY explain how the user will exit the website and promote future use by others
