Website Critique Project (100 pts)
For this project, you will need to find a website that needs visual design assistance. I would suggest choosing an SCSU organization or something that is local to the area in which you live. It is perfectly fine if you are a member of this organization/club/business.
Imagine that Ms. Glenda North, the head/owner of the organization/club/business is preparing to speak at a conference of potential investors in that group. She wants to make sure that the organization’s/club’s/business’s website is professional and represents them well. She is asking you for your help.
Prepare a proposal for this person, detailing what you think needs to be done with their website. This may include- specific details, clear contact information, updating links, new graphics and/or pictures, updated information, or upcoming events, etc. You may also suggest areas of the website that need to be deleted or changed. Remember to explain the changes and the rationale behind them. Keep the rhetorical situation in mind!
This document must include a visual image/chart/graph that is explained in your text.
You may want to refer to our textbook (pg. 142) to help your decision-making.
You should persuade the organization that they should make the changes that you suggest. Please use the basic format like the example A.2 on page 578. This proposal should be 400 to 500 words and be submitted as a single doc. or docx. file.
