Important: Before you begin this assignment (as stated in the syllabus and in the Web Hosting section above), you will need a web hosting service in order to publish your content to a live website. You will submit the URL to this website in your Week 1 homework deliverable. We recommend you use AWS Educate S3 web hosting service, but you are free to select another web hosting service (e.g., 000webhost.com). Be sure to select one that allows you to create and edit your own HTML code and supports HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Also ensure that it does not insert advertisements into your code. Your selection of a web hosting service, if other than AWS Educate S3 web hosting service, must be approved by your Instructor.
Please note that web hosting services such as Google Sites and WordPress are not acceptable for this course, as they do not support CSS or JavaScript.
In order to start using AWS S3 web hosting for publishing your webpages you need to open your AWS Educate account. You will receive the invitation to do that via your university email. Follow the instructions in Uploading websites to AWS S3 service.pdf file below:

The HTML document includes code that displays the image but only when set up properly. Perform the following steps:
Download the HTML file and picture (using the links above) and place them in the same directory on your local computer (e.g., Week1_site).
Double-click the HTML file. You will notice that the file opens in a web browser, but the image does not show up. Take a screenshot of the image file not showing up.
Create a folder named “pics” in the same directory as the HTML file and move the image to the pics folder.
Refresh the HTML file in the web browser. You will notice that the image renders correctly. Take a screenshot of the image file showing up.
Log on to your web hosting service, and upload index.html and the pics folder to the Web Pages area. This will be the itec-2080-week1_xx bucket when you use AWS Educate S3 web hosting service.
Find the Endpoint (the URL to access the uploaded website) and copy it to a web browser to view the uploaded HTML page. Take a screenshot and include it in your Week 1 assignment report.
In Part 1 of your Week 1 assignment report, describe the selected web hosting service, explain and comment on the results obtained, and add the URLs for your website on your local machine and the URL of the page hosted on the web server. Be sure that the server URLs included are functional and allow for previewing your site on the server by clicking on it.
Part 2: On the basis of the activity in Part 1, write a 1- to 2-page report analyzing the role and importance of naming conventions. Identify at least three features and benefits of FTP servers, one of the many technologies for which naming conventions are so important. Include a discussion of the difficulties that might be faced when standard naming conventions and file structures are no utilized.
Combine the reports from Part 1 and Part 2 into a single Word document. Name the MS Word document as
