Tableau. This is our visualization software. You get to install your very own student copy on your computer by following the directions in Week 0 -> Tableau Software License and Installation (all the way at the bottom). This should be easy-peasy because Tableau makes its money when users have pleasant experiences, starting with installation.
Python. This is our computer programming software. This comes with full directions in Week 7 -> Assignment 7.2.
Assignment 7.1. This is your first week’s work using Tableau to make some pretty graphs. This is an individual assignment.
Assignment 7.2. This is your first week’s work programming in Python. It is also an individual assignment. If you’ve never programmed before, this is going to feel like a long, strange trip. If you’re an experienced programmer, all this ‘hello world’-ing is going to feel a bit cute, but bear with us.
Assignment 7.3. Here we continue our Python programming, this time with hourly wage calculations.
Assignment 7.4. The Python saga continues, this time with the introduction of our tireless “add ten” program, which adds 10 to everything it possibly can. This assignment introduces our wrapper as well.
Assignment 7.5. Temperature converter in Python coming at you. Is global warming real or a hoax? It doesn’t matter – with this program you will be equipped to convert between Celsius and Fahrenheit whatever the weather.
