Assignment: Capstone Project: Topic and Narrowing the Focus

The topic is: How will depression impact everyone in society due to covid-19? 

A social problem or topic involves an issue that affects a specific population or discipline. Describe the topic you have selected for your Capstone Project. It is important to narrow a broad topic to one that can be researched in this course. Examine your topic and decide on an aspect of the topic that you most want to study this quarter.

To Prepare

• Review the media Learning Resources for information about how to choose and narrow a research topic.
• Decide on a topic that you are keenly interested in studying.
• Begin to narrow the topic to one that can be researched in the scholarly literature.
• Search the Walden Library for at least two peer-reviewed articles to support your topic selection.
• Review the Discussion feedback from your Instructor and/or colleagues. 

Assignment (2–3 pages)

• Describe the topic you have selected for your Capstone Project. Be sure your topic is narrow enough to be able to research it in the scholarly literature.
• Support your description with information cited from two peer-reviewed articles.
• Integrate relevant Discussion feedback into your topic description.
