Walden Significance of Leadership Involvement in Healthcare Settings Response

A significant aspect of health care organizations that provide character and worth in a resourceful approach is efficient access to quantity and capacity constructive for quality advancement (Peter D. Hibbert, Martin Basedow, Jeffrey Braithwaite, Louise K. Wiles, Robyn Clay-Williams, & Robert Padbury. (2021). Some of the proposed action steps that will be taken to implement improved practices for fall prevention will include unit teams, leadership involvement, and assigned fall prevention teams. Each team will work on developing fall risk practices to share and put into practice.

Potential challenges during the proposed improvement project can involve a lack of participation from staff and gaps in developed fall prevention practices. The resources needed to provide a successful PDSA plan include participation from the care team, obtainable goals, and data. New practices will be followed after the team develops goals and implements measures to test if the goals were successful (www.ihi.org, n.d). The PDSA resources are productive and beneficial when the correct team provides realistic change practices that provide successful improvement plans and outcomes to eliminate patient falls.
