VeloCloud Orchestrator
- If a customer is having an issue reaching their payment processor vendor from all their LAN devices, what are some steps we can take to determine the root cause?
- If we need to grab a configuration file from a cisco 2960 and upload that to a blank cisco2960 switch, how would you go about that process with a technician on site that has a working console cable? What about a technician without a console cable?
- If a client calls in and ask us to perform a migration of their core palo alto firewalls at their data center to a new Fortinet firewall. The client states the implementation is in 3 hours and you don’t see anything on your calendar. What are some questions we would ask?
- You want to perform a command within the CLI of an HA (High Availability) configured velo cloud to switch the current active device to be the standby and the current standby to be the active device. Which command would you use to perform this action? Also, what command can you run before the previously mentioned command to determine if the command worked or not?
- Some branch locations in Florida are not reaching out to their data center/hub resources. You have determined that the VCMP tunnels to the data center from these locations are down. How did you check this? (Provide CLI or VCO diagnostics commands). What else can we do to determine the root cause? How are some ways we could potentially mitigate the issue?
- A data center link went down 5 minutes. The client is upset and wants a Root Cause Analysis. When checking the NOC cheat sheet, it states that we do not provide circuit support. What sort of analysis can we provide to the client? What steps did you take to obtain the necessary data to perform the analysis? Pretend you are writing an email response to the client with the obtained data.
- We have set up some NAT statements on a Velocloud from outside to inside. You check the NAT table from within CLI and don’t see any of the entries we configure. What will you try? After trying all of that you still don’t see any NAT statement built in the NAT table. What do we do next?
- A branch office has an HA down, Tier 1 or Tier 2 has not perform layer 1 connectivity tests. What can we provide Tier1 or Tier 2 to ensure that their job is easier?
