* The paper should be double–spaced with a 12–point font in Times New Roman and one–inch margins.
* APA format is required
* Epidemiological data can only be for the background and/or discussion sections of the Final
Paper but try to provide data from within the past 5 years.
Abstract: Briefly describe the study up to 300 words. Make sure to include a statement about
the purpose, methods, results, and conclusion.
II. Background/Introduction: Describe the topic/issue being measured and the target
population. This section should briefly identify the characteristics of persons/communities who
are affected by the problem. It should also include epidemiological data about the magnitude of
the issue and population (recent data, if available). Be sure to include APA in–text citations. Last
few sentences usually introduce the study and its objective.
Methods: In this section, you will describe your project and how it was conducted.
a) Sampling: Describe the recruitment process of the sample from the target population.
What type of sampling design was conducted (why was this sampling design chosen)?
What are the strengths and limitations of the sampling used? Be sure to address if it
involved probability or nonprobability, and if the results can be generalized to the target
population. Discuss the challenges of having a small sample size.
b)Conceptualization and operationalization of variables. What are the main variables of
interest and their associated attributes/values in the study? How are these variables
operationalized? Indicate the levels of measurement of the main variables.
These are the Flourshing scale and the questions that we ask when collecting survy
