Use Adobe InDesign to make 3 spreads for an entertainment magazine. The goal is to create a section for a magazine about the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die.
The template is already created; it’s an InDesign file called lastname_firstname_project3.indd, and is included with all the source material right here. The text material are already provided, you don’t need to write new contents.
The content must include the mainbar(bond_main) which cannot be edited for content (but which may be checked for spelling and grammar), and at least one of the sidebars(eilish_side, eilishzimmer_side, retire_side, or actors_side), which may be used and edited as you see fit. You are responsible for creating the content for the rest of the package – possibly a timeline of Bond over the years, a focus on the different Bonds, a look at box office numbers, using the sidebars to fill out the space, or whatever you deem is the best way to portray this story.
Traditionally, body copy for magazines are set in a serif typeface (Adobe Caslon, Minion, Times New Roman…), 10 to 12 points and with 11-12 points of leading. You have several photographs at your disposal. They are in the images folder.
Here’s the link to the project website that includes all the guidelines and material:
