Perform a heuristic evaluation of the wireframes for the members of your group. You are required to use Nielsen’s 10 Usability Heuristics for User Interface Design for this assignment, available at: http://www.useit.com/papers/heuristic/heuristic_li… (Links to an external site.)
Please review the personas from the group member to get an idea of who the representative user might be. To guide your analysis of the site, you are required to identify a scenario of use that describes how the representative user from the given personas might approach interacting with this site. This can be very general — if you were evaluating a travel website, for example, you might think about someone trying to cash in all their frequent flier points, or someone trying to trade in a ticket for a first class seat, or someone simply looking for the best deal from point A to point B. Your goal here is to develop a basic scenario that will guide your heuristic evaluation.
Guided by this scenario, you will then systematically evaluate the interface (or a portion thereof) of your group member’s site, checking to see which interface elements you encounter (if any), while following your scenario, violate any of Nielsen’s heuristics. You should work from your scenario, and NOT work from the heuristics (i.e., don’t take each heuristic one at a time, looking for heuristic violations on the site).
Use this Heuristic Evaluation Form-1.docxPreview the document to evaluate each group member’s website (Justin and Subin zip files), i.e., one heuristic evaluation form per website. The form has spots for two problems; you can add more if necessary.
We need to have 2 evaluation forms
