We are going to prepare an 1120 https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1120.pdf
Here are the forms you are required to complete
Form 1120(all pages), 1125-A, Schedu G, Schedule M-# (technically, Parts II and III are not required because total assets are less than $50 million but I want you to experience the pain of the M-3 in its total glory – you can just check Box 1 at the top of Parts II and III. You do NOT need to attached statements), Form 1125-EAll files are attached
Reconcile Book to taxable income base don what you know. There are five reconciling items between book income and taxable income on Line 28. Once you think you have that, complete page 1 of the 1120 and get the details of taxable income down. That will require completion of Schedule C (page 2 of 1120) and Schedule J. Save the questions on pages 4 and 5 until last. The balance sheet on page 6 is pretty much a typing exercise. Schedule M-1 and M-2 can be completed next. To complete the 1125-A, you know the COGS amount but you’ll need to use your cost accounting to get the amounts for lines 1, 2 and 7. Sched G is easy. Schedule M-3 is totally overwhelming but better now than on your first day of work. 1125-E is easy. Then go back and finish the questions on the 1120 if time permits
