A. CASE SELECTION. Case 1-3 “Acer, Inc: Taiwan’s Rampaging Dragon” (p. 53 of the 6th edition; p. 60 of the 7th edition)
B. ANSWER THE FOLLOWING THREE QUESTIONS:
1. Identify three (3) factors you think contributed to Acer’s decline immediately following the 1988 IPO.
2. In your opinion, which played a greater role in Multitech’s growth strategy: Traditional Motivations or Emerging Motivations? Why? (Refer to Chapter 1).
3. Should Shih allow the development of the Aspire to continue? Why or why not? Be sure to incorporate the innovation models in Ch. 5 in your answer.

7. The case analysis should be approximately 250-500 words (total) excluding the title page and questions.
8. Answer all questions using complete sentences. Points will be deducted for using a bulleted/numbered list format. NO BULLETS!!!
9. The paper must be double-spaced, using a regular-sized font (e.g. Times New Roman, 12-point).
