Unit VI Literature Review
In Unit VII, you will be required to complete a research paper. The topic of your paper must be within the areas of strategic human resource management (HRM), global HRM, designing of work systems, labor relations, talent management, performance systems, or compensation systems.
For this assignment, you will create a literature review of at least five sources, appropriate to the topic you selected from above. This will be your research paper topic and first draft of your literature review that you will use in the Unit VII Research Paper.
A literature review should include sources appropriate to the topic, which are current (within the last 5 years) and/or relevant. Thorough comparison and contrast of findings should be provided and related to the main discussion points. Explain why the source was selected, how it relates to the topic, and controversies that exist in the literature, which should be clearly introduced and discussed. The significance of the discussion for the research question must be clear.
The research paper involves an in-depth analysis of the theme or position you are advancing in your paper. It should reflect the results of your independent research that you began in the Unit VI Literature Review attached. The topic of your paper must be within the areas of strategic human resource management (HRM), global HRM, designing of work systems, labor relations talent management, performance systems, or compensation systems.
All papers must be written from a strategic and emerging trends perspective.
