Students will be split into teams of two, and paired up with one other team of debaters. Talk with your debate partner to brainstorm possible resolutions for your mini debate and submit your resolution to Dr. Gent. Choose something fun; nothing too dense or that requires a lot of research. Once you choose a general topic, you will narrow it down to a resolution. See bottom of the worksheet for tips on choosing and writing your resolution. Then, assign one of you to the affirmative side of the resolution and the other partner to the negative side.
