Initial Posts are worth 30 points and must be at least 350 words in length, which is equal to about 1 page of double-spaced writing in Arial, Calibri, or Times New Roman 12-point font in a Word document. Initial Posts must cite our class resources at least three times. Outside sources are allowed but use our course resources first. If you use an outside source, it must be properly cited and acceptable for college-level work. History.net; Wikipedia, etc. are not acceptable academic sources. The required citation style is Chicago-style method including footnotes.
1. You cannot write a peer response on the same question as your own initial post.
2. Each peer comment must be on a different question. Two Peer Responses=Two different questions.
3. Replying to comments in your own initial post is encouraged but does not count as one of your Peer Responses.
4. You do not need to cite your peer responses unless you use an outside source. If you do use an outside source, use the Chicago-style method including footnotes.
