Week 1 Weekly Learning Journal Summary
The goal of the weekly learning journal summary is to capture insight, understanding, and enable self-directed change = “self-work”
Students must post a summary of what was learned from all of this week’s learning activities (more than a summary of the reading).
Learning Journal Summaries have three parts and must be in three separate paragraphs (to receive full credit):
- Describe what you learned during the week.
- Describe how you will use what you learned during the week.
- Describe “specifically” three things you will start doing tomorrow to make what you learned into a habit.
(NOTE: Weekly Learning Journal Summaries must be posted toward the end of the learning week, i.e. Thursday or Friday.
===================
Every week the third item of the weekly learning journal summary asks you to describe how you will make what you learned into a habit.
Transferring learning into a habit will transform who you are and how you are in the world.
