University of Southern California How Music Helps the Brain Discussion

I’m working on a writing discussion question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

Please research the importance of Music Education. Identify how music helps the brain, why music should be offered as a part of a school’s curriculum, and how music education can be helpful to everyone, regardless of their career path. This is VERY near and dear to my heart. There are numerous websites out there devoted to this one. I have included a couple of them below. (All submissions should still contain at least 150 words and a properly formatted citation at the bottom).

All of these websites are dedicated to the idea that music is good for EVERYONE. (There is even one….the 4th one down… from Johns Hopkins Medicine, home of some of the great medical minds/research in the country).
