Create an introduction slide that informs viewers what goals will be covered in the presentation. Introduce the company you selected.
Define ORM and SERP. Why are they important?
- Using specific examples from the company you selected, describe how the chosen company/organization is managing ORM. Are they doing a good job or need improvement? What reasoning led to this conclusion?
- What are Google Alerts? Discuss. Using Google Alerts, select 5 alerts the company should use and explain why these alerts are best.
- How frequently should a brand reputation manager, PR person, or CEO, review these? Why?
- Using the keywords chosen in the Google Alerts, research each of the keyword SERPs using Google and Bing.
Analyze the SERPs with a compare and contrast of the Google and Bing results and explain the differences or similarities. Is content negative? Positive? Neutral? What might be the cause? Is the content created by the company itself or by outside customers, vendors, or partners? Why is this important?
