This process is a requirement and part of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA 2004). The purpose of this assignment is to understand the legal requirements and steps required in a manifestation determination.
   Create a 350- to 525-word quick reference document that summarizes the following for a manifest determination:

   • Stakeholders involved in process (and their roles)
   • Purpose of meeting (decisions to be made)
   • Circumstances that may cause an educational placement change
