“Julius Caesar” is more than Julius Caesar’s murdered king. Who or what is “Julius Caesar”? This is the question, and the problem, that much of the play and many of its characters seek to resolve. To what degree does the performance provide an answer to this question? How might we explore the relationship between the “public” and “private” Caesar?
