USE THIS AS A TITLE: REFLECTION D: More Ways to Live a Good Life (TOPIC)
Now that we have studied several different approaches to what makes a “good human life,” which philosophical approach appeals the most (and least) to you, and why?
Choose ONE from: Aristotle, Adler, Aquinas, Buddhism, Jainism, Hinduism, Stoicism, Epicurus, or Calvin
Part I (Write “Part I” in your paper)
Describe the philosophical approach to happiness/a good human life (that you have chosen from the above list) in your own words. Refer richly and liberally to material in the module, especially the Powerpoints (don’t rely only on the videos!). Do not include your personal opinion in this section–just explain the approach as well as you can. Don’t assume that your reader knows anything about this philosophical approach.
Part II (Write “Part II” in your paper)
Tell us your analysis about why this philosophical approach appeals to you. What aspects of this approach resonates with your past experiences? (You can also include ways that this approach doesn’t work for you, if you like). Again, refer liberally to material in the module.
