The purpose of the Connect 3 assignment is describe in greater detail how your pictures from the Scavenger Hunt are related to public health. Here is a great opportunity to think critically about how your images relate to different aspects of public health. You may think about how it prevents disease, promotes good health, or fits within different disciplines of public health (epidemiology and biostatistics, health policy, global health, community and family health, environmental and occupational health).

Note: If you were told that any of your images from the Scavenger Hunt were not appropriate for the assignment, you will need to replace them for this submission. You are highly recommended to email your instructor to assure you are on the right track with your pictures. Reviewing instructor feedback from the Scavenger Hunt will be very helpful here.

  • Technical Requirements
    • Include the same 3 photos from the Scavenger Hunt assignment (unless instructed to replace one or more photos).
    • Copy the photos into the template provided in Canvas (note there is an example here for you to better understand how to complete this assignment).
    • Write at least 100 words per photo describing how the image connects to public health. Think about the 3 P’s of public health and the 5 disciplines of public health to get ideas for this discussion.
