Please consider all of the thoughts, observations, and insights you’ve experienced by participating in the six weekly reflection discussions on time-of-day data quality issues. Organize your thoughts into a single submission essay that describes your new thinking about data quality as it pertains to your future use of automated databases within healthcare institutions. Provide your thinking on everything from what you see as the issues involved, the reasons why these issues are encountered, and how or when you see yourself either correcting for these issues when you use this data, or going so far as to suggest cures for these types of issues. Don’t limit your thinking to just the cases we worked with in this series, but also include any other data quality issues that you have become aware of (even if only as possibilities) based on your thinking and reflection on this topic.
