Online Food Ordering Database – Task 2
Prior to beginning work on this assignment, read Chapter 3: The Relational Database Model and Chapter 4: Entity Relationship (ER) Modeling from the course text. Last week, you were asked to start reviewing the Microsoft Visio or Chen Entity Relationship (ER) Diagram tool that you will be using to design and develop your database.
This week you will utilize this tool to develop the second task for the Online Food Ordering Database Project due in Week 5. For this assignment,
- Create a complete Chen ER diagram design for the entities and attributes you have identified in Week 1. Include a screen shot of your diagram in your paper.
- Create tables in Word that corresponds with the entities and attributes in your ER diagram. Your tables should include fields and data types for attributes, as well as the relationships between entities.
- Describe the advantages and concepts of your Chen ER diagram and how the diagram will help shape the overall relationship between tables. Your description should be a minimum of 300 words.

- Must include a Chen ER diagram and corresponding tables, fields, data types, and the relationship between entities.
- Must include a description of the advantages and concepts of the Chen ER diagram that is a minimum of 300 words and be formatted according to APA style as outlined in UAGC’s The Writing Center.
- Must include a separate title page with the following:
- Title of paper
- Student’s name
- Course name and number
- Instructor’s name
- Date submitted
