Create a 5-7 slide presentation on the Security Audit process. You may use various sources including your textbook. Be sure to cite any sources used in a reference slide with proper APA formatting. (Cover and reference slides do not count). You may also use the slide notes function to explain slide contents as necessary.
Be sure to include the following:
Describe the risk review activities.
Identify the four organizational permission levels.
Define the purpose of a security audit.
Discuss the six phases of a security audit plan.

1. The management of risk is a major concern of the IT security professional. Disasters happen and an
organization must be ready to respond. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and your
textbook presented the terms vulnerability, threat and impact. Define these three terms and explain their
relationship to each other as they relate to risk.

2. Businesses can suffer disasters from two different sources: man-made or natural. An organization must be able to respond appropriately to a disaster if it is to survive. Discuss four types of disasters that a business might experience. To be prepared to respond, a good business continuity management (BCM) process will contain two specific plans. Describe the two types of plans and discuss the terminology associated with them.
