Discussion topic #1: Popular culture (music, books, visual art, and clothing) during the 1960s has been labeled “psychedelic.” After engaging in your own independent research, explain which type of popular culture seemed to be the most influential in the psychedelic movement. For example, did psychedelic popular culture first originate with music, books, or the styles of clothing? Please justify your response.
