The purpose of the Career Management Final Project is to provide you the opportunity to apply career management theory to your own career plan.
Assignment:
Each student will complete an individual career plan based on the principles, research, and discussions in class. Each career plan will be based on the student’s current stage in life or their future plans. Consider such things as financial impact, relocation, family support, and following your passion.
The paper shall be a minimum of six (6) pages and contain at least three (3) references (the textbook can be used as one). The paper can be as many pages over six as you would like with as many references over three you choose to use. The body of the paper must contain the headings listed below:
Introduction
Content
Summary
- Conclusion
The Introduction should be short and just introduce what your ideal career might be. The content should be the “meat” of your paper and describe your game plan on how to achieve your ideal career. The Summary should be explaining your goals and objectives based on your individual career plan. The Conclusion should be your time frame on when you plan to achieve everything you’ve planned. If you do not have a goal at this point in your life, use a hypothetical situation. Given the fact that each person is different, and each person may have different career goals, there is some flexibility on the format of your paper.
