I interviewed Eliran Hersh, he works as a financial analyst in the San Diego county under the office of supervisor Joel Anderson who’s an American politician and in charge of district 2 in San Diego. We talked about the role of his job and what makes it a good career. Since that’s what I want to do he gave me some tips and at the end offered me an internship. I want to write about all this and be specific about the interview. You can come up with details on your on as long it’s related to the role of financial analyst, you can give examples about the job and pros and cons and makes it look like I learned a lot from it.
This assignment is to help you learn more about a career of interest, while also developing your networking skills. You will find and set up an informational interview with an individual who works in a career/position that interests you. An informational interview can be as long or as short as you desire, but they typically last around 20-30 minutes. Since we are in a pandemic, I encourage you to do your interview either on the phone or on a video calling platform (ie ZOOM, Skype, etc.).
