For the analysis portions in the presentation:
1) Identify what area of the project your analysis will be on.
2) Show the portion of the project, ie., a particular joint connection, area of high stress/shear, deflection, thermal gradient, motion etc. Highlight and show the equations to use. If you are analyzing a spring, show much more than just F=kx. For springs, I want to see the system and where the deflection occurs, the estimated forces corresponding to the position. If you are looking at stresses, showing a simple bending equation isn’t enough. You need to go much deeper and have the inertia calculated and how your selection of the cross-section I has influences the stress state and how the loading condition affects it, ie., torsion, bending, shear, axial, transverse etc.
3) In diagrams FBD/or CAD model images related to the analysis, please annotate forces, displacements, motions with rates, temperatures initial and final, energy in form of kinetic, potential, etc.
