You must complete BOTH questions and each question should have TWO responses: Answer for (A) yourself and interview (B) another person from the age group indicated in the question.
Make sure you include basic details about age, gender, and relationship (if any). First names only.
1. Complete the sentence: “The most difficult period of my life was between the ages of _________ and ___________.” Include the follow up question of Why? (The other person should be from the Late Adulthood).
- In your paper,consider how their response compares to with what you have learned about development and the experiences of individuals during this period.
2. Complete the sentence: “One aspect of aging I look forward to is… and one aspect of aging I dread is…” Include the follow up question of Why? (The other person will be from the Middle Childhood or (early) Adolescence age period).
- In your paper, consider whether these perspectives about aging are based on actual developmental changes (physical, cognitive or socioemotional) that occur during this period or myths about the period?
- Make comparisons between your responses to these questions and how the person from a different age period responded to the same question. How are the responses the same and how are they different and Why?
