For this class, you are going to create your own company in a field of your interest. Here are a list of things you may want to think about when managing your organization:
- The business segment: Why the particular industry? What are the trends which may affect your goals?
- Organizational culture: What type of culture do you intend to foster? Through what activities?
- Motivation: How would you motivate your employees to be more engaged?
- Leadership: What leadership style would you be demonstrating? How would this fit in your overall strategy?
- Teamwork: How important is teamwork for your company? How to build your teams?
- Decision making: How is the decision-making process defined and approached?
- Social technology at work: To what extent would your organization encourage social technology?
- Any other components that may fit into your project.
Your paper should be at least 10 pages long (double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 font, standard margin 1″). The page limit excludes the cover page, appendix, reference pages, tables and figures, images, etc. Please cite at least five sources in APA style.
