You are required to propose a sustainability initiative that helps to either mitigate student impacts on climate change or to assist in a process of adaptation to climate change. The initiative must be relevant to students of Sheffield University, so either concerned with the functioning of the University or concerned with the functioning of neighbourhoods in which students live.

Answer either B1 or B2. Specify which of B1 or B2 you are choosing to address.
B1: What would be the effect of your initiative if it were widely applied in Sheffield and elsewhere? Answer this question drawing on the concepts of ecological modernisation and climate justice.
B2: Compare and contrast how aspect of climate change management addressed in your initiative (e.g. waste management, food policy) is ideally tackled from either an ecological modernisation position or a climate justice position.
