As the scope of the COVID-19 pandemic became apparent to government leaders around the world, there were calls to restrict trade in medical supplies and equipment.  For this forum, you will do some quick research on a specific country, or regional trade bloc, regarding their efforts to use trade policy to increase the availability of medical supplies and/or equipment.  Present your findings and share your opinion on whether the policy was effective. Also, consider whether the policy represented a good use of trade policy in general.
