Reflection Instructions:
What is an idea from the textbook’s discussion of Toulmin argument (pages 143-163 of chapter 7) that will help you write your argument? Quote this section of the chapter and write at least one paragraph in which you explain how this concept will help you draft the “How will this solution alleviate the problem?” section of your proposal essay. You might want to re-read the prompt located in the “Essay Instructions” module so that you remember what this section of the proposal essay should be about. You may also need to explain your proposal essay topic in some detail so that your peers understand what you are writing about.
Remember to use quotation marks and provide the page number when you quote from the textbook.
Application Instructions:
Draft at least one paragraph for the “How Will this Solution Alleviate the Problem?” section of your proposal. Use what you learned from the textbook to make your argument strong.
