I’m studying and need help with a History question to help me learn.

The Gilded Age showed a large discrepancy in wealth distribution in America. The rich kept getting richer and the poor, poorer. As a result of money, capitalists were able to buy favors from the government, which suffocated the working class and their efforts for labor reform. The Labor Movement, which quieted down during economic hard times reignited, leading to the development of new, stronger, and more effective labor unions, like the American Federation of Labor.

Describe the components that made the American Federation of Labor more successful compared to previous labor unions.

Cite at least 3 examples of how the American Federation of Labor positively effected the working class.
