Must write about half of the content on 10.8 and send it to me. I need to submit it to the professor.❗
Students are required to produce a written Thesis Paper to accompany the Thesis Project. The contents of this paper should describe the selected theme, the research involved, the execution and analysis used throughout the entire process. This paper should be an MS Word document, 10-pages minimum, 12-point font, double-spaced, with a one-inch margin on all sides. Illustrations, photos, cover sheet, bibliographies and other supporting materials should be considered additional pages.

Guidelines for Writing the Thesis Research Paper: A specific style of writing is necessary in order to write your thesis paper. The common writing style in the past has been MLA. So, make sure you use this guide for formatting and citations.
In English and humanities writing, you may find yourself responding to one reading or citing a variety of sources. Instructors will generally require that you use the Modern Language Association (MLA) system of citations to document your sources. Here are two websites that will help you site your sources correctly. http://www.easybib.com/ (Links to an external site.) or http://citationmachine.net/ (Links to an external site.)
TIPS from Dr. Kenyon Holder:
- Please use In-Text Citations to cite any information taken from your research (this does not mean quotations only- you must cite any factual information taken directly from a resource).
- When citing works within the body of your paper use parentheses at the end of the sentences with the author name and page number like this: (Smith 89).
- If there is no known author, use the name of the corporate author like (American Cancer Society 95). Or the title of the source like (“Impact of Global Warming” 15). If the citation comes from a website just leave off the page number.
- Your Works Cited Page should appear at the end of your paper.
- Books should appear in the following format:
- Lastname, Firstname, Title of Book, City of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication. Print.
- A website should appear in the following format:
- Editor, author, or compiler name (if available), Name of Site, Name of institution or organization affiliated with the site (sponsor or publisher), date of resource creation (if available). Web. Date you accessed the site.
- If no publisher is available use n.p. in its place. If no publishing date is given use n.d.
- You DO NOT need to provide URLs for Web entries.
1.First page is the Title Page (See writing the Proposal)
2. Introductory paragraph(s): (See [IOB]: Introduction) The Introduction portion of your paper was completed in the prior assignment.
3. The Body of the paper: (See [IOB]: Outline) It is highly recommended that you use the outline created in the prior assignment to assist in writing your final paper. I reiterate, the body of the paper should present an organized explanation of your artistic journey intellectually, physically and emotionally. Feel free to write about findings in your research as it relates to your theme or your process/media. There might be any number of other data related to your topic that you wish to include in this report. You may organize this portion in any manner that you wish but again, I emphasize the word ORGANIZE.
4. Conclusion paragraph: End your paper with a hard-hitting wrap-up, anecdotal or otherwise, which reminds us again of your topic.
5. Don’t forget your paper must be at least 10 written pages. The title page, bibliography and imagery are additional pages.
